EcoSprout's Coconut Stick Review & Giveaway!

*Disclosure - I was provided product to review for this post.  Opinions are 100% truthful and my own!

As many of you know, I'm a HUGE fan of coconut oil.

We use coconut oil around the home for just about everything - in cooking, personal care, for baby skin or diaper issues, hair care, and for about a million other things.  I absolutely love coconut oil.

DH, however, does not.

I don't think he minds the general concept of it.  He drinks coconut milk on occasion when he runs out of cow's milk.  But when I'm asking my very crunchy-tolerant husband to spoon some coconut oil out of the jar to rub onto a diaper rash with his hands, he's maybe less than happy.  And then I was less than happy, because I was stuck doing all of the diaper changes.

But a new product from EcoSprout completely just changed all of that for our family.

EcoSprout's new product, The Coconut Stick, takes all of the messy fuss out of coconut oil and makes it completely, fantastically easier to use.  Instead of spooning or grabbing coconut oil out of a jar with your fingers, the Coconut Stick is a 2-ounce twist-up stick of oil.  That means a few things, including no more messy hands!  Even when you need to use your coconut oil as lotion - you can apply it straight from the stick without getting the palms of your hands greasy.

Another reason I love the Coconut Stick is that it's immensely easy to transport.  In the past, my lovely daycare provider has put up with my sending coconut oil in a little tupperware container for red baby bums - as I can't send a whole glass jar along in my diaper bag.  But now, I can very easily toss the Coconut Stick into the diaper bag and have it ready to use anywhere and anytime.

From someone who already uses coconut oil in an immense number of ways, this product makes life a whole lot easier and considerably less messy!

If you haven't previously heard about EcoSprout - you should check them out!  EcoSprout makes fantastic cloth diapering products including detergent, bottom sprays, diaper liners, pail fresheners, and more!  So, I am super excited to share a giveaway for the Coconut Stick from EcoSprout with you all!  One lucky reader will win a Coconut Stick of their own!  Get to entering below and message me with any questions!

  1. Hey Jayne, are there any other ingredients in the stick, in addition to coconut oil? Also, have they done anything about the melting point to make it solid stable in warmer months?

    1. It also has beeswax and vitamin e oil in it! I believe it's stable until between 105-110 degrees and won't melt until then! :)

  3. I haven't yet ventured into using coconut oil, but I have a toddler who is resistant to potty training and has a fair amount of rashes. She seems to react badly to the a lot of the otc creams. This would be an easy way to start!
