Catch the Moment 365 - Days 8 through 14

I'm actually pretty surprised to see how things went this week for my Catch the Moment photos.  Last week, I really had to think about consciously reaching for the DSLR instead of my iPhone camera.  I also had to remember to actually bring the camera to where we are, and I was picking it up at random times to get photos of the kids.

This week, the camera has sat out in our main area of play the entire week - and I've been grabbing it during specific times only.  When the kids are playing together nicely, when I see a sweet moment, when there is a moment to catch.  I've been much quicker this week, and I'm actually getting the camera fast enough to get a photograph of the moment I was observing.

It's fantastic.

8/365 - Playing around with the absolutely fabulous new wrap we just found {a post on that is upcoming!}

9/365 - Life of a mom: mess in the background, baby on my lap, just trying to eat a meal with two hands. :)

10/365 - The dimples on Little Man's hands are slowly going away and it is slightly breaking my heart.

11/365 - Little Lady's button nose is just about my most favorite part of her, she just makes me smile so much.

12/365 - Scavenging for toys.  {And yes, that's still our Christmas tree - we left it up, without the lights or ornaments, for the kids' woodland themed birthday party coming up!  I swear, it's coming down after the party!}

13/365 - Stamps and Playdoh are seriously one of the biggest hits at our house right now, and I've been trying to use it to match upper and lower case letters as a game {as well as to spell out our names}.

14/365 - I seriously could wrap our entire home with burlap, I love it so much.  I keep changing the decor to match the seasons, but still every time the burlap ends right back up.

  1. That first picture of you and Little Lady is a total gem. She is too cute! I can't wait to hear about this carrier! We have several, but I haven't been able to do a back carry in any of them.

  2. Love the pictures of your precious children! My baby girl is 2 1/2 now and I can't believe how fast it goes.

    I need to get some burlap! It does look lovely.
