Catch The Moment 365: Days 1-7

Guys.

After just one week, I'm almost in tears at the number of gorgeous photos I've been able to take of my family.  I had this fantastic camera sitting around and I never used it because I wasn't comfortable shooting on manual.  But this challenge took me out of my box.  I set the iPhone camera down and picked up my real DSLR and started shooting.

And came out with photos of my children that I will cherish for a lifetime.

Nurse Loves Farmer

I caught the moment this week - sweet looks, sibling love, and so much joy.  I shot so many photos that I had almost thirty I could have used for this week's challenge.

In saying that, I didn't have any photos of myself or my full family of four that made the cut, but in the future I will definitely showcase some of those.  I also didn't choose the photos that would win any awards.  There are no pictures in this group that are technically the best, even though I had a few that even made me proud of my ability with the camera this week.  I chose the pictures that caught the moment in my family.

Without further ado, here are this week's photos:

I cannot wait to come back and share more with you all next week!

  1. I always try to pick one that is my favorite and comment on it but I can't! Those extreme close ups are so sweet and I love the smile with the school bus and REALLY love the kiddos huddled up in the corner having a secret meeting. TOO CUTE! I really hate this snow though. :)

  10. When I first saw the pic of the two kiddos together I thought twins but now I see they are not. I remember those days with two babies close in age. Treasure it, they grow so quickly.

Love those close ups! Wish I would have known to take photos like that when my kids were littler. I do still love how they come out today though!
