Why I love Bloglovin'

As a follower of many other blogs, I was surprised to recently hear that Google Reader is going away on July 1.  Google Reader is a common way that many people follow their favorite blogs, but it hasn't been my favorite option.

As many of you may be switching up to a new reader when Google Reader goes away, I thought I might share my favorite way to follow the best blogs.  And, if you've never followed a blog before, I'll show you a great way to start!

Well, hey there Bloglovin'!  Nice to meet you!

Bloglovin' is a really easy, pretty way to follow your favorite blogs.  By visiting, you'll be able to sign up to see all the blog posts you read in one place at the same time.  Instead of having to visit each blog separately, you can visit one place and see everything at once.  You can pick and choose the blogs you follow by doing a search by name or by browsing the top followed blogs or most popular posts.  Bloglovin' makes it easy to find not only the blogs you know and love, but also new blogs sorted by category that you maybe haven't heard of just yet.

Once you've set up your Bloglovin' reader, it will show you the most recent posts from the blogs you follow.  The best part is that with it's almost Pinterest-style look, Bloglovin' lets you read only a small blurb of each post, so you can read a little first and then figure out if you want to click to read the rest of the post.

When you see a post you like, you can also click the "like" button, which determines the post's popularity.  If a post gets enough "likes" it will show up in the Popular feed tab.  Which is, you know, awesome.  Because everyone wants their posts to be popular.  :)  If you personally like a post, Bloglovin' saves it in your Liked Posts tab, so that you can find it quickly.

But my favorite part?

Bloglovin' sends you a daily email if there are new posts on the blogs you follow, which looks like the picture above.  So you don't even have to remember to check, because Bloglovin' is just awesome enough to remind you to read your favorite posts.

Could it be any easier?  I don't think so.

If you are looking for a new reader since Google Reader is going away or are just looking for a way to keep up with your blogs, I highly recommend Bloglovin'.  And, if you're not already following TNO on Bloglovin', you can do so here:
